Skippers currently operate as ground maintenance contractors across multiple sectors, including schools, colleges, councils, sports clubs, businesses, housing associations, and more.

We begin with an initial site visit to understand your specific requirements, then leverage our knowledge and expertise to develop the most efficient and tailored specifications to enhance your site. Typically, we offer 1, 2, or 3-year contracts to carry out the recommended work at the most optimal times of the year.

Most work takes place during the growing season, from spring to autumn, when grass, shrubs, weeds, and flowers thrive due to mild temperatures and ample rainfall. However, there’s still plenty to keep us busy outside of the peak growing season, including leaf clearance, moss treatments, winter shrub bed maintenance, hedge cutting, and even snow clearance and gritting when the weather takes a turn.

Grass cutting, hedge and shrub trimming, sports line marking, weed control, shrub bed maintenance, leaf clearance, tree maintenance, moss treatments, jump pit maintenance, and field renovations are just a few examples of services that can be included within a set contract.
